Independence and Interdependence

I have loved so much about this day! I loved catching up to the Ogden High School band at the Layton parade this morning with James. It was quite the speed walk/jog through crowds of parade watchers. We caught them and cheered on Ben and Rebekah and Michelle.  They sounded great. Then we took a long time getting out of traffic and back home to Ryan.  Had dylanfor lunch and then cleaned up the house and Ryan cleaned out the garage and then we found out our new bed would be ready to be picked up. So tired a bit and work out we cleaned out the back of the suabaru and all three of us headed to Jared and Tracy’s to get th bed. We said hello to her son and his family who are there visiting. And with their help took two trips and got the bed home. It is huge and comfortable and I think we will love it. But it wa a slot of work getting it here and a lot of weight for us all to lift. We have missed our big strong boys today. James has been amazing but we are all tired and achy. I went to the store while Ryan and James set up the bed and the. We got ready for the BBQ tonight with Calvin and Connie. Ryan used his new grill. It worked really well and the food was so tasty. We had fruit too and chips and salad and brownies and ice cream for dessert. It was very pleasant out on the back patio. And afterwards we watched some Pixar shirts and then lit three fireworks. I’ve decided on the fourth all I want to be sure to do is have a barbecue and light a few forewords at hand if I can go to a parade too I’ll count myself lucky. The big thing is being with people I love. And I got to do that today. I feel lucky indeed. My feet are killing me. I wish I could give William and Peter a hug. I miss them so much. But sounds like they are doing really well. I am so grateful. I will pray in thanks and ask for God’s continued blessings to be upon them and us the rest of this summer week.
