Today is a day in eternity. I listened to a wonderful talk called something like that this morning. Elder Cannon spoke about how each day is the only day we can live so we should live it the best we can and not put things off until tomorrow or live in the past. I loved the two and felt the Spirit witness of its truth. Today has been a day in eternity. I drove James and his friends to lagoon. I dropped them off with the field trip folks and then went to get blood work done at Farmington Hospital. I had lunch from Coasta Vida that was very good. And I listened to some good podcasts. And then I picked up James and Manny and Brendan and we drove back. It was a cool and slightly rainy day. A perfect day for lagoon and not too crowded. It’s not even officially open yet.
Then today from 3-7 I was part of a senior passage panel. I had a great experience. I was tired and a bit worn out, but it was so neat to see how much these seniors had done in their time at venture and how they had grown. I was very proud of them, and I feel like I just barely started to get to know them. I am thankful for the chance to see what Peter will be doing in two short years. And William in two more and James two more than that. And each of my boys will have different experiences with high school and I hope will learn and grow into the people God would have them be. I love my boys so much. We went and looked at a new cat we will probably be getting on Monday. To help Freya be a little happier and calmer. He is beautiful and orange. A tabby and very sweet. I think William will love him. His name is Finn. We aren’t gonna tell William until we just bring him home on Monday. So excited!! Tomorrow we leave for Idaho. I can’t wait. I still need to pack and make potatoes for the Conger’s funeral and say goodbye to Wayne who is moving tomorrow. And I need to clean up the house and be sure things are all set for Emilily who is taking care of the pets. Lots to do. When I write tomorrow we should be with William again in Idaho. I have missed him so much! I hope he’s had a good time!!
