February 21: snow on snow

Beautiful snowy evening. I am thankful for this home keeping us safe and warm. So many have less. I am thankful for my husband whom I love and for the huge ginormous blessing it is to have children! I am so thankful for these boys! It’s so fun to be a mom. We get to do so many fun things together. They crack me up on a daily basis and give me people to love so much and teach and help and learn from. I am so lucky. I am able to learn so much more about love than I ever thought. I could —being a parent and a souse. I am so grateful for the snow too. And for the hope I feel about the future. Definitely glad James is feeling better—and he accepted the call to be the new deacons quorum president! He will do a fabulous job!! Peter is doing okay with all the rehearsals. Some tough times there all day, but he’s a tough kid. I am thankful he’s almost ready to perform. He’s ready. And William got to hang out with Kyson after school which I know he enjoyed. And helped me shovel. Lots to do tomorrow, and we’re keeping fingers crossed it’s a snow day. Oh and yesterday I went for a hike on the beaver pond trail. It was beautiful and snowy I’m sure today it’s completely covered—there were three feet yesterday. Probably more like five now!

I love my Savior. And want to be more like him. Lots I can work on.
