 I went for a beautiful hike this morning with my dad—up the golf course trail. It was snowy with lots of tracks and turkeys. And this afternoon I enjoyed English chips with the boys as we watched Bluey. Until Peter texted to tell me Afton had said “no”. Well, first she said “sure”, and then she said she was keeping her options open. Someone else asked her a few days ago and she wanted to keep her options open. Poor guy. He was brave about it, but I know it was scary asking her out in front of seminary and then when she said at rehearsal that it was not probably gonna happen….and that makes me so sad. I love my boys and it’s so sad for me when they are sad. Autumn would love to go with him….he said as much this morning. That would be a lot of fun! I know they would have a good time. Peter had had a lot of support though from me and Ryan and his bros of course! And Chris and Jon and my mom and dad and the bishop. So many people who love him!!!! 

And William and Ryan finished the embossing of the Norse axe tonight!! It is so cool and William is so excited!! I love watching the boys craft and create. I love my boys. I love Ryan and I’m so thankful for all of the blessings!! Thankful for the enabling power of Jesus Christ.
