December 3: Lights and branches
Today we decorated the house and the boys played with Ryan and Peter went to Ben’s birthday party. It’s been a wonderful day. I love how our home looks all decorated for Christmas. And I love how it feels. So cozy. Ryan bought a penny whistle and has been practicing it—which is beautiful. William is feeling a bit better. He and James played outside a bit. Had a snowball fight. And then played some evolution board game. They are such sweet brothers. And William came with me to get some line boughs from the park to put in our house. We snagged them from Jaycee park. The big pine tree the boys like to climb. It was really fun to go with him. We listened to Christmas music and got some McDonald’s French fries. And we drove past Christmas village. I think it was nice for him to get out of the house. And it was beautiful. I felt the Spirit. Felt loved and felt grateful for the Savior. Felt of His love and living reality. And also felt hopeful about our future.
And I found out this morning on my freezing cold walk at the cemetery with Madi and mom that Madi is pregnant!!!!!!!! So excited. And I’m not supposed to tell anyone. Ryan guessed it. So grateful and happy for her.
I hope and pray we can feel healthy and happy each of us as individuals and that we can keep growing and learning too. And feeling love for ourselves God and others.
