December 23: our Christmas kitten

We got her this evening! But before we could do that I woke up at 5 this morning and got ready and went to target and finished our gift shopping. And it was not crowded at all. So nice to get there before anyone else! And then I went and visited with grandma Ballif and she was sweet. And it was snowing a bit and everything looked so magical. And then I went and bought a duck to cook at Harmon’s. And took back our unused tile.  and a package to ups to return and got our prescription refills and picked up our grocery order. And the bank. And that was all before 11 am! And we played the fudge we made yesterday for the neighbors and delivered more and had dinner from the crockpot and then headed down to Salt Lake City. Chris and I visited with Melissa at he house for a bit b. And then we went on to the zoo lights. It was beautiful. But not a lot of animals. And then we picked up our animal. Our little kitty. She doesn’t have a name yet. But William and James were soooo happy and surprised. It wa a beautiful moment. And I hike and pray we can find joy as we take care of this kitten. I hope and pray she is healthy and well. Her home befor was. A bit rough. I love my family so much. Peter was so sweet holding her on th way back to ogden. And now it is Christmas Eve.

I’m exhausted and happy. So pleased it is today. And so grateful for Christ and His birth and His redeeming love and grace. His grace is sufficient for each of us and all of us. I love Him. I am grateful He was willing to be born in humble but living circumstances even with all the challenges and complications of this mortal life.
