December 15: late start again and the last day of school this year!

What a beautiful snowy day! I woke up early to get cinnamon rolls from the store for Peter to take to celebrate his birthday, and ended up getting a call as I shoveled my way to the car that it is a late start day. And it has been a beautiful one. So many blessings. Especially my boys and Ryan and the time we’ve had together. And Ryan got his bonus so I’ve started Christmas fun birthday shopping in earnest now. Ordered some gifts and bought the stocking stuff and a few more gifts. For Jon’s birthday stuff too. Tomorrow he turns 35!

Work went quite well and I got paid too, which was nice. I took a biology test and a chemistry test today. I wasn’t graded, but I think I did. Ether on the biology test. I went I Ms Hunter’s class for the first time. She seems quite nice and a good teacher. I think the job may yet be a good fit. We shall see. William is a trooper and adjusting to his braces. And James is feeling. Ether.

Peter invited friends to his birthday party and had a work party tonight after DnD. He is much more social than I am, but I think he’d love to spend a morning watching X-men in his pjs. Tomorrow may be that day.

I think I’ve found out kitten today too. Lots of good things today. I need to get to sleep but I just have to write Christmas kittens.  Story to follow.

And Jared has COVID now too. And had to go to the ER tonight. Thankfully he’s heading home now. Grateful to the power of prayer.
