December 10: shipping and messes
I love it when I can feel the Savior’s love for me as I am today, not as I want to be or as I feel like I once was, but as I am now. What a huge blessing that is. He loves me now with all my weaknesses and shortcomings. I am so thankful for that pure and real and abiding love. When I reach out humbly and keep trying to get better. Keep trying to forgive and repent daily, His loves is right there for me to make up my shortcomings and make me complete. I am a mess, as we all are, but His love keeps making up for my lack until I can get a little better and a little better. “All you have to do is try, but you have to really try.” He is here as we are going from the now, to where we want to be. We don’t have to be perfect before the atonement starts working in our lives! I love this season so much. So much hope and light in a dark and cold time. Just beautiful and so meaningful too.
Ryan and I went shopping with the bishop and his wife yesterday for a family in our ward. We had a good time and it was fun picking out things for this sweet family. Shopping when you know what to get and that the people will love it is really good. Fun to be with Ryan. Ry and the boys got their COVID boosters this morning. They may be down and out tomorrow. I am feeling much better though.
