October 3: the excitement of book fair erasers
They are shaped like avocados and hamburgers and cell phones. And we have calculators that look like chocolate bars. We have erasers that look like gummy bears on the end of pencils. And we have two types of invisible ink pens. Book fair books can be great too—lots of classics for a good price, usually. And lots of books with shark teeth or small volcanos or jellyfish blobs. Or crush necklaces. So many journals. Many of them fuzzy. I love a good book fair. Never run one before. But I’m learning how. And I’m taking it one day at a time.
