September 2: A trip to MonteCristo and finishing my library

 I’m exhausted. It’s been a great day. My favorite part was driving duo to MonteCristo and back. We didn’t find a camping spot. But we had a lot of fun! We saw lots of deer, sheep and an owl or maybe two. Just beautiful. 

Also today I finished up my room. At school. I’m exhausted. But grateful and excited to get to read to the kids. I hope I can maintain a good environment so the kids can feel safe and happy and connect with the books. 

My boys—our boys are amazing. So good to be positive even though they wanted to camp too. I hope they know they can be ho eat. But I think they know how to make the best of things. Good people!!
