July 31: Endings and Beginnings

 At the beginning of this month—the first day—we went to the Dino quarry. And it was really nice! And I had just finished girls’ camp and was feeling fearless and courageous. And today we hosted the first ward walkabout this year. And we had 130 cookies and cupcakes that are pretty much gone. And we had lots of kids here playing together and grownups visiting. And it was really nice! I love my husband and my boys so much. I am so grateful for the joys I feel each day being a part of their lives. I am thankful for the growth and learning this past month and for all the good conversations and the understanding and all the prayers. I am thankful for youth conference. I am thankful for Peter’s CrossFit tournament. I am thankful that Mike is doing better post gallbladder removal. I am thankful I am feeling better post campylobacter! I am thankful for this month and for this new month beginning in less than an hour. Grateful and tired and happy.
