June 4: First Summer Saturday

 All the firsts! Went to the zoo this morning and had a great time! The tigers and bears were especially active and it was so fun to see them. I took the boys and we met up with Grampy and Clara and Desmond. A great zoo trip. After wards we played dnd with Mike and started the curse of Straud campaign. So far I’m enjoying it, for the most part. I want to try and help everyone have fun and sometimes James gets a little silly and then gets picked on. Which I feel a bit sad about. But I like being with my Keyes guys and with Mike. It’s been fun making new characters again. After the curse of Straud, Peter and William had birthday parties to go to—Peter for Emma—her family threw the party in her memory and they all tied quilts to donate to primary children’s hospital. Hard stuff, but I’m glad he went and so was he. And then William went to Cameron’s birthday party and north shore. And had a good time. James and I went and weeded at grandma Ballif’s.  And we got to feed the cows and the goats and James even got to drive the tractor. He was a happy little Jameson!!

Got the kids all home, visited with Connie and Calvin and prepped a bit for Sunday. A full and summery day and I felt grateful for so many sweet moments.
