June 20: Beauty!

 The day started with amazing rain—a beautiful downpour! Went out on the porch with James and William and talked about our day. We read some scriptures too which was a really good way to start the day. I want to do that intentionally with the boys before we do other things. We usually have come follow me in the evenings, but we haven’t been reading our daily scripture on the way to school since we haven’t had school. Anyways. Beautiful day. And the. It’s had fun at the summer camp! Superhero day! And Peter stayed home to rest—but we took him to the doc again and it’s just a bad cold. So he’ll go to work Wednesday. I cleaned the house and did laundry and tidied and cleaned out the rooms for the Yorgason Clan and it felt so good to clean out house well. I’m exhausted and my feet are killing me, but it feels good to have things cleaned and organized. The Yorgason’s are here and it’s Tenley’s 11th birthday! Tomorrow is the summer solstice! The longest day of the year. And today it’s three months exactly until my birthday! A good day!! Will and I went for a walk in the neighborhood and delivered bbq flyers and took care of YW stuff. Which felt really good too. I sure like walking with William. The sunset was gorgeous! And it’s been so nice a cool all day! We had little Caesar’s pizzas for dinner and ice cream out on the back patio. Fun to have the cousins around to play with. Fun to meet neighbors. I love my life. I love my Savior. I can do all things through Him. Grateful that he empowers and stenghthens me. As to my own strength I am weak, but I can do all things through him which strengthens me.
