April 5: shoveling snow

This is how we have begun every day for the past week—seeing how much has fallen and shoveling it off our driveway and sidewalk and walkway. And then William takes care of the Neunzert’s. And we have been up to Lydia Cowlishaw’s the past three days. And then yesterday there was some extra clean up too. My back is sore. And my mouth is frozen. But it feels good each morning to have a task that is needful. It feels good to help. And to know what to do. Sometimes I spend too much time worrying about the right thing to do at the right time. The snow is there. We need to get out of the driveway. People need help. And so we help.

That being said I am grateful that supposedly this is the end of the snow. We should have sunshine and warm weather by Easter Sunday  that sounds really nice to me  I’m going to make some breakfast now  and hang out with the boys  and maybe try and work on the wallpaper I’m Peter’s room once I warm up  I think I may be coming down twitch something I feel like I have an infection or something
