October 29: So much so fast

 I have a new job at Venture High I’ll be starting in two weeks. I’ve quit my job at EastRidge. And I’ve been rather sick with a flu. But right now at our house Halloween is the thing on everyone’s mind. And what do we need to do to finish our costumes. And I love what’s going on. It’s been so nice today to have everyone home. Peter has been so busy lately with play practice. Last night he was there until almost 9pm and he wasn’t even given a dinner break. I am quite unhappy about that. I hope and pray he can end up finishing the play having learned good things—and not too discouraged and exhausted. Having an organized director makes a huge difference. I’ll admit that I appreciate in others qualities I don’t possess myself as much as I’d like. 

But good moms keep trying. And I keep trying so I’m a good mom.
